The August Bank Holiday weekend is nearly upon us, and we are staging three days of racing, starting with the Star Centenary race on Saturday 27th. The Star class members have worked wonders, and at the time of writing, they hope to have eight Stars on the starting line, a sight we have not seen for some time. This is followed in the evening by a 20’s style cocktail party, in support of the Star Association, and the costs of keeping these wonderful classics afloat.
Tidal classes and dinghies racing continues on Sunday, followed by a long distance race on Monday. Prizegiving will take place as soon as possible after each day’s racing.
